We are a small boutique studio where we’re passionate about movements and community. We created a friendly and supportive community where you feel welcomed, understood and safe – regardless of your age, size, identity or disability.

Our studio is beautiful, calm and clean. We’ve been extra careful to provide free step entry for our disabled clients and our mums with pushchairs. We have disabled toilette and changing facilities too.

And last but not least, we also have a WONDERFUL TEAM at Beyond Move. We carefully select our teachers, making sure they’re aligned with Beyond Move’s values and beliefs. However, every one of us is different, and the beauty is we can get a different energy from each class and teacher.

Pilates

It’s loved around the world, and we love it too. It increases muscle strength, tone, flexibility, and posture – and has a wide range of mental health benefits, including stress management, better memory, and helps with depression or anxiety.

  • We believe movement is medicine. In this gentle class, we slow down, break down and modify the traditional Pilates exercises to give you more time to adjust. This leads to safe, gradual improvement in your strength, flexibility and confidence – as well as the enjoyment of your movements freeing up.

BARRE

Barre is a low-impact but high-intensity movement designed to strengthen your body and core in ways that few other workouts can.

 
  • We use a challenging combination of bodyweight resistance, light props, and high repetitions to work out all your minor & major muscle groups.

  • Focusing on alignment, posture + technique helps you to go deeper to get the most out of every barre move. This is a great class if you’re new to barre fitness or recovering from injury, and our hardcore clients also attend, as it’s still a very challenging class!

YOGA

Yoga is for everyone, and anyone’s welcome to join. The intensity of your workout will depend on which form of yoga you choose.

 
  • Yoga Flow is a diverse class of sequences and static postures. Every session includes breathing and relaxation techniques.

  • With Vinyasa Yoga you’ll practise movements in a flow for a challenging workout which aims to empower!

  • This class is suitable for everyone. You move your body slowly into poses that combine strength and flexibility with relaxation and mindfulness.

Beyond Move was created for people of all ages and genders without limitation. Our community members range from 7 years old to 85 and everything in between. Seeing the incredible results our clients have achieved in overcoming injury and chronic pain – and deepening their relationship between body and mind through movement and genuine community – makes us feel so proud and appreciated 💕
